Where and how can I use it?

SVG format

It’s a lightweight vector format (in kilobytes) that’s ideal for use on websites, in mobile apps, and for print. Thanks to its scalability to any size without loss of quality, it can be scaled from the size of an icon to a banner on a building. The file is easily editable in popular graphics editors such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and others, and opens in Photoshop without any issues.

PNG format

It’s a raster format with support for transparent backgrounds, making it ideal for use on websites, web graphics, in presentations, documents, and social media. PNG preserves high image quality at its original size, but may lose sharpness and become blurred when enlarged. The file easily opens and is used in popular editors such as Photoshop, GIMP, Canva, Figma, and most standard image viewers.

The 3M logo of the American technology company is rendered as a red typographic sign in which the number 3 and the letter M touch at the edges and merge into a single monogram. Both elements are set in a bold sans-serif style and built from broad shapes with solid fills. In the basic version, only the “3M” sign is used, while the expanded version includes the corporate tagline “Science. Applied to Life.” beside it. The current red version was established in 1978, when the company replaced its earlier blue logo with the red sign that became its main corporate mark. The name 3M grew out of the historic name Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company, which over time was shortened to the brief form that became the company’s standalone brand.

3M is an American company founded in Minnesota in 1902 as Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing Company and officially renamed 3M Company in 2002. Over that time, it evolved from a mining business into one of the world’s best-known technology manufacturers. Today, 3M is known for solutions in adhesives, abrasives, tapes, films, electrical and industrial systems, personal protective equipment, and everyday consumer products. The company’s portfolio includes such well-known brands as Scotch, Post-it, Command, Scotch-Brite, Filtrete, and Meguiar’s. 3M operates across many industries and focuses on applied technologies and products for industry, construction, transport, electronics, and everyday life.
