Where and how can I use it?

SVG format

It’s a lightweight vector format (in kilobytes) that’s ideal for use on websites, in mobile apps, and for print. Thanks to its scalability to any size without loss of quality, it can be scaled from the size of an icon to a banner on a building. The file is easily editable in popular graphics editors such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and others, and opens in Photoshop without any issues.

PNG format

It’s a raster format with support for transparent backgrounds, making it ideal for use on websites, web graphics, in presentations, documents, and social media. PNG preserves high image quality at its original size, but may lose sharpness and become blurred when enlarged. The file easily opens and is used in popular editors such as Photoshop, GIMP, Canva, Figma, and most standard image viewers.

The AWS logo, used for the American cloud platform Amazon Web Services, consists of the abbreviation written in lowercase letters and the curved Amazon line beneath it. The letters “aws” are set in a large bold sans-serif font. The lower element is the Amazon smile arrow: the line forms an arc under the name and ends with an arrow on the right. The logo can be used both in a two-color version with dark letters and an orange smile arrow, and in single-color versions for different backgrounds.

How Salvador Dalí created the Chupa Chups logo

In 1969, the Spanish artist Salvador Dalí, at the request of Chupa Chups founder Enric Bernat, sketched the idea for the future logo on a newspaper page in less than an hour during a lunch meeting. That was when the famous yellow flower shape with the brand name in the center first appeared. The image proved so successful that it became the basis of the Chupa Chups logo and has remained part of the brand for more than half a century.

How the Guinness beer brand is connected to the Book of Records

The connection between the Guinness beer brand and the Book of Records dates back to the early 1950s. Brewery manager Sir Hugh Beaver proposed creating a reference guide to settle record-related disputes that often arose in pubs. In 1955, the first edition of Guinness World Records was published, originally conceived as a promotional project. Mercedes-Benz: a drawing from a postcard

Gottlieb Daimler drew a three-pointed star on a postcard for his wife, writing that it would one day shine over every engine and factory he built. After his death, his sons turned this symbol into a logo. The three points represent the company’s ambition to succeed on land, sea, and air. A four-pointed version was also patented, but the three-pointed one was chosen for its stronger visual impact. Since then, the core of the logo has remained unchanged.
