It’s a lightweight vector format (in kilobytes) that’s ideal for use on websites, in mobile apps, and for print. Thanks to its scalability to any size without loss of quality, it can be scaled from the size of an icon to a banner on a building. The file is easily editable in popular graphics editors such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and others, and opens in Photoshop without any issues.

PNG format

It’s a raster format with support for transparent backgrounds, making it ideal for use on websites, web graphics, in presentations, documents, and social media. PNG preserves high image quality at its original size, but may lose sharpness and become blurred when enlarged. The file easily opens and is used in popular editors such as Photoshop, GIMP, Canva, Figma, and most standard image viewers.

The Daikin logo, for an HVAC equipment manufacturer, consists of the brand name set in large, slanted uppercase blue letters and a signature triangular mark. The triangle is made of two colors—black and light blue—laid diagonally. In the horizontal version the triangle sits to the left of the wordmark, while in the vertical version the wordmark is on top and the triangle is placed below it; the same colors and diagonal angle are preserved.

Daikin is a Japanese company, Daikin Industries, Ltd., operating in HVAC&R.
