The Gillette brand logo consists of a wordmark written in bold sans-serif typeface, slightly slanted to the right. A distinctive feature is the “cut” that runs from the top of the letter “G” to the dot above the “i”, creating a sense of motion and associating with a razor blade. The “tt” letters are merged, while the other characters either touch or are placed very close together, forming a compact and solid visual composition. The current version uses a deep navy blue color that emphasizes the brand’s reliability and technological focus; sometimes, a black version is also used on a light background.
Gillette is an international manufacturer of shaving and personal care products, founded in 1901 by King Camp Gillette. The company pioneered the development of safety razors with disposable blades and over time became a leader in the men’s grooming market. In 2005, the brand became part of Procter & Gamble. Today, Gillette offers a wide range of products — from razors and blades to skincare items, including specific lines for women and sensitive skin — and continues to drive innovation in personal care.
