The current Haval logo was introduced in 2023 and reflects the brand’s shift to a modern, digitally focused style. The new emblem features the word HAVAL in a bold, geometric sans-serif font, straight and unitalicized, rendered in a solid gray color. This replaces the former three-dimensional metallic logo with gradients and chrome effects. The font is now more streamlined: the letter “A” lacks crossbars, making the logo visually lighter and more high-tech. The move to flat design aligns with global trends in automotive branding. The new logo adapts better to digital interfaces, mobile apps, wearable devices, and print.
Haval is a sub-brand of China’s Great Wall Motors, specializing exclusively in the production of SUVs and crossovers. Founded in 2013, the brand initially targeted the domestic Chinese market but soon began expanding internationally. By the 2020s, Haval had become one of the leaders in China’s SUV segment, present in over 60 countries—including Australia, parts of Latin America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. Haval vehicles are assembled not only in China but also in overseas plants, including Russia. The company focuses on developing proprietary platforms, innovations in electronics, integration of ADAS technologies, and transitioning to electrified models. Haval invests heavily in design, its own R&D centers, and competes with major global automakers in the mid-price SUV segment.
