The NPCI logo—the mark of India’s retail payments infrastructure organization—consists of an italicized dark-blue NPCI wordmark and an emblem of two right-pointing orange and green triangles layered over each other. In the “India” version, the main wordmark is accompanied by the Hindi line “भारतीय राष्ट्रीय भुगतान निगम” and the text “NATIONAL PAYMENTS CORPORATION OF INDIA”, while international communications use the “NPCI INTERNATIONAL” version, with “INTERNATIONAL” placed under the logo. The brand guidelines include full-color, grayscale, and single-color versions.
NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India) is a not-for-profit organization responsible for the development and operation of retail payment and settlement systems in India; it was set up with the participation of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and the Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) and builds infrastructure for the country’s banking system. Under NPCI, key products of India’s payments ecosystem are developed and operated, including UPI, RuPay, IMPS, NACH, NETC, and AePS, while international activities are handled by the subsidiary NPCI International Payments Limited (NIPL), established on 3 April 2020 as a wholly owned NPCI entity to promote UPI and RuPay solutions outside India.
