The logo of PASHA Bank, a commercial bank, consists of a graphic symbol and the brand name positioned to its right. The symbol is formed by eight squares, four green and four red, arranged in a circle and partially overlapping one another. The red squares are rotated relative to the green ones, while narrow cutouts between the elements create a thin outline that visually separates them. The negative space at the center of the composition forms an eight-pointed star. The international version uses the name “PASHA Bank”, while the Azerbaijani version uses “PAŞA Bank”. The word PASHA or PAŞA is set in uppercase green letters, while the word Bank below it is red. The brand identity is based on Azerbaijani national ornaments and colors. Red is associated with energy, leadership, and activity, while green represents life, renewal, confidence in the future, and the pursuit of goals. The logo and brand identity were developed by BBDO Branding during a rebranding process that took place from October 2007 to November 2008.
PASHA Bank, an open joint-stock company, is one of Azerbaijan’s leading corporate banks. It was established in June 2007 and has operated under a banking license since November of the same year. PASHA Bank places particular emphasis on companies operating in non-oil sectors of the economy, including agriculture, transportation, construction, and trade. The bank is among the country’s largest by total assets and operates in Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia.
