Logo of The Coca-Cola Company, an international corporation in the non-alcoholic beverages sector, features the company name rendered in its signature calligraphic script based on the 19th-century Spencerian style. The letterforms are smooth and elongated, with each element connected by continuous curves and flourishes that create a flowing handwritten look. The primary corporate version uses black, applied in documents, reports and official materials; the red version is used less frequently, mainly when visual continuity with the Coca-Cola product brand is needed. The current form preserves the historical script tradition and remains one of the world’s longest-standing corporate wordmarks.
The Coca-Cola Company was founded in Atlanta in 1892 by entrepreneur Asa Candler, who acquired the rights to the original beverage formula developed by John Pemberton. Over time, the company became one of the largest global beverage corporations, owning a portfolio of hundreds of carbonated and non-carbonated drinks, juices, water brands, energy drinks and ready-to-drink teas. Today, The Coca-Cola Company operates in more than 200 countries, develops a global bottling network through partner franchises, invests in new beverage categories and implements sustainability programs focused on packaging recycling and reducing its carbon footprint.
