The Verbatim logo, created by a manufacturer of data media and storage solutions, consists of an emblem in the shape of a stylized letter “V”, formed by two red geometric elements combining straight and curved lines. To the right is the brand name, rendered in lowercase black sans-serif letters with rounded contours and uniform stroke thickness. The emblem can also be used separately from the wordmark — as a white “V” inside a red square, which appears on compact media and in situations requiring a simplified version of the brand mark. The current logo was introduced in 2024 and is used on product packaging, digital materials and the company’s official resources.
Verbatim Corporation was founded in 1969 in the United States under the name Information Terminals Corporation and became one of the key brands in the field of data media, developing lines of optical discs, memory cards, USB drives, SSDs, external hard drives and related accessories. The company played an active role in the standardization of CD and DVD formats, strengthening its position in the global market. After becoming part of Taiwan’s CMC Magnetics in 2020, the brand continued focusing on solutions for long-term data storage, archiving and information transfer, supplying products to dozens of countries and maintaining a wide range of consumer and professional offerings.
