Where and how can I use it?

SVG format

It’s a lightweight vector format (in kilobytes) that’s ideal for use on websites, in mobile apps, and for print. Thanks to its scalability to any size without loss of quality, it can be scaled from the size of an icon to a banner on a building. The file is easily editable in popular graphics editors such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and others, and opens in Photoshop without any issues.

PNG format

It’s a raster format with support for transparent backgrounds, making it ideal for use on websites, web graphics, in presentations, documents, and social media. PNG preserves high image quality at its original size, but may lose sharpness and become blurred when enlarged. The file easily opens and is used in popular editors such as Photoshop, GIMP, Canva, Figma, and most standard image viewers.

The Visa logo today is an elegant and concise wordmark: the word VISA is displayed in large, uppercase letters in a deep blue hue. The left arm of the “V” is slightly elongated and slanted, lending the logo a sense of dynamism and visual recognition. The typeface is modern, sans-serif, with a focus on clarity and technology. In the 2021–2022 refresh, the logo became even more minimalist: the gold element was removed, the blue intensified, and the design optimized for digital screens. These changes underscore the brand’s commitment to staying current in the digital age and convey stability, reliability, and global scope.

Visa was founded in 1958 as a Bank of America initiative called BankAmericard. In 1976, the brand was renamed Visa, reflecting its vision of worldwide recognition and universal access. Since then, the company has grown into one of the largest global payment networks, providing infrastructure for secure and instantaneous transactions worldwide. Visa does not issue cards directly but offers a technological platform through banks and financial institutions. Today, Visa processes billions of transactions annually, driving innovation in electronic payments and expanding access to financial services around the globe.
