The IFA Berlin logo is a large IFA abbreviation in heavy geometric sans-serif letters. A straight I, the rounded upper part of the F and a wide A form a compact mark. The black version is used on light backgrounds and the white version on dark backgrounds. Both retain identical outlines and proportions, contain no date and represent the exhibition independently of a particular year. The current identity was introduced for IFA’s centenary in 2024. It shifts the emphasis to the lettering and to making technology accessible to a broad audience; the previous red Funk-Otto head ceased to be the main mark. The slogan Innovation For All expresses the idea behind the refresh but is not included in these logo versions.
IFA Berlin is an international trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances in Berlin. Its history began in 1924 with the Internationale Funkausstellung radio exhibition. As the industry developed, its programme expanded from radio equipment to televisions, audio systems, computers, mobile devices, household appliances and smart home solutions. The exhibition brings together manufacturers, retailers, journalists, industry professionals and visitors interested in new devices. Alongside exhibits, it includes presentations, talks and professional meetings. The organiser is IFA Management GmbH, a joint venture between GFU Consumer & Home Electronics and Clarion Events. Combining trade and public formats enables people to discover technology through both business contacts and demonstrations of finished products.
