Where and how can I use it?

SVG format

It’s a lightweight vector format (in kilobytes) that’s ideal for use on websites, in mobile apps, and for print. Thanks to its scalability to any size without loss of quality, it can be scaled from the size of an icon to a banner on a building. The file is easily editable in popular graphics editors such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and others, and opens in Photoshop without any issues.

PNG format

It’s a raster format with support for transparent backgrounds, making it ideal for use on websites, web graphics, in presentations, documents, and social media. PNG preserves high image quality at its original size, but may lose sharpness and become blurred when enlarged. The file easily opens and is used in popular editors such as Photoshop, GIMP, Canva, Figma, and most standard image viewers.

Since 2016, the Maestro logo consists of two simple overlapping circles — one blue and one red — forming a purple segment in the center. Below the symbol is the word “maestro” in lowercase, set in a modern minimalist black typeface. This version replaced the earlier striped version and reflects a shift toward simplicity and digital clarity. The updated style emphasizes the connection with the Mastercard brand, while also visually positioning Maestro as a standalone product designed for fast and convenient payments.

Maestro is an international debit payment system created by Mastercard and officially launched in 1992. Initially designed for the European market, the system expanded to dozens of countries worldwide. Maestro supports transactions at physical points of sale and ATMs, and later integrated with online payments and digital wallets. Since 2023, Mastercard has begun gradually phasing out Maestro cards in favor of the more universal Debit Mastercard, though the brand remains a significant part of the history of global cashless payment infrastructure.
