Transneft’s logo features a graphical composition combining a stylized emblem with the company name in bold, uppercase letters — “TRANSNEFT.” To the left of the name is a semi-circular symbol with a wave‑like element that visually resembles both a pipeline and a wing. The logo’s color palette includes blue, red, and white—reflecting the colors of the Russian national flag. This corporate identity, adopted in 2012, remains current and resulted from a rebranding that moved away from a bird motif, emphasizing technical strength, power, and stability as befitting a national oil transport operator.
Transneft is the world’s largest oil and petroleum product pipeline operator. Founded in 1993 as the successor to the USSR’s Glavtransneft, it currently owns and manages over 68,000 km of crude oil pipelines and about 16,000 km of product pipelines. The company operates more than 500 pumping stations and transports over 80% of Russia’s crude oil and around 30% of petroleum products. With approximately 78% of shares held by the state via the Federal Property Agency, Transneft plays a key role in Russia’s oil export logistics, providing access to seaports and international markets while continuously modernizing infrastructure and developing new delivery routes.
