The Zoom logo features the word “zoom” in lowercase letters rendered in a light blue shade known as Zoom Blue. The typeface is a modern sans-serif with soft rounded shapes, notably in the “z” and “m.” Previously, the logo included a video-camera icon, but since 2022 the company uses only the text mark. This approach emphasizes the platform’s universality, moving beyond just video calls and reflecting its expanded capabilities.
Zoom Video Communications, Inc. was founded in 2011 by engineer Eric Yuan. Following the launch of its video service in 2013, the company quickly became a key platform for online communication. Zoom saw massive growth during the pandemic, becoming the standard for video conferencing in business, education, and other fields. Today, Zoom offers more than video calls: it includes voice communication, messaging, virtual whiteboards, and AI integrations. The platform is used in over 190 countries.
