The logo of the Russia 1 TV channel consists of two visually balanced elements: a blue rectangular panel with the word “Россия” (Russia) and a red square with the number “1” on the right. The channel name is written in uppercase letters using a geometric sans-serif font, while the number “1” is represented by two white lines forming the numeral on a red block background. The logo’s color palette refers to the Russian flag and emphasizes the state-owned status of the channel. Since 2010, an updated version of the emblem has been in use, and since 2012, it features a gradient design that adds visual depth.
Russia 1 is one of the main federal TV channels in the country, part of the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK). Broadcasting began in 1956 as the Second Program of Soviet Central Television. In 1991, the channel received its current name and has since undergone several modernization stages. Today, Russia 1 covers the entire country, has an extensive network of regional studios, and offers a diverse range of content: news, analytical programs, TV series, movies, shows, and live broadcasts of major events. The channel actively develops digital platforms and remains an important tool of Russia’s informational and cultural policy.
