The logo of the Vesti news program is a rectangular blue panel with the word VESTI in white uppercase letters. The typeface is strictly geometric, with straight lines and even spacing between characters. The logo can appear standalone or as part of branded program titles like Vesti. Local Time or Vesti of the Week. Since 2017, an updated version of the logo has been used, introduced together with a redesign of the visual identity for the news programs of VGTRK. The logo has become clearer and more adapted to digital environments while retaining its recognizability.
Vesti is the flagship news program on the Russia 1 channel, airing since May 13, 1991, and part of the VGTRK media holding. It covers a wide range of topics — from politics and economy to society and regional events. Under the Vesti brand, the 24-hour news channel Russia 24 and the Vesti FM radio station also operate. The program’s editions are produced by federal and regional newsrooms and broadcast at different times — morning, afternoon, and evening — making the brand one of the most recognizable and authoritative news brands in the Russian media space.
