Where and how can I use it?

SVG format

It’s a lightweight vector format (in kilobytes) that’s ideal for use on websites, in mobile apps, and for print. Thanks to its scalability to any size without loss of quality, it can be scaled from the size of an icon to a banner on a building. The file is easily editable in popular graphics editors such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and others, and opens in Photoshop without any issues.

PNG format

It’s a raster format with support for transparent backgrounds, making it ideal for use on websites, web graphics, in presentations, documents, and social media. PNG preserves high image quality at its original size, but may lose sharpness and become blurred when enlarged. The file easily opens and is used in popular editors such as Photoshop, GIMP, Canva, Figma, and most standard image viewers.

The logo of the Cannes Film Festival (international cinema forum) consists of a flat silhouette of a palm branch and the inscription “FESTIVAL DE CANNES” in a clean, no‑frills typeface. The palm branch is enclosed inside an oval and appears on official festival materials — posters, accreditation badges, titles, and promotional media. This graphic motif has appeared since the 1950s as the emblem of the festival’s highest award, the Palme d’Or, and the current version is refined for digital formats while preserving its visual continuity.

The Festival de Cannes was established in France in 1939, though the first full festival occurred in 1946 due to World War II. Since then, it has become one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world. Its top prize — the Palme d’Or — is awarded to the best film in the main competition. In addition, the festival features sections such as Un Certain Regard, Cannes Classics, La Semaine de la Critique, Quinzaine des Cinéastes and the major film market Marché du Film. The Festival de Cannes exerts a significant influence on global cinema and champions auteur filmmaking.
