The SHEIN logo of the international online fashion retailer consists of the brand name set in uppercase letters in a strict upright sans-serif typeface. The letter spacing is noticeably widened, so the wordmark reads clearly and evenly. In its current presentation, the sign is used without a separate graphic symbol and is usually shown in black or white depending on the background. The name SHEIN grew out of the earlier Sheinside: in 2015 the brand switched to a shorter spelling that was easier to remember and search for.
SHEIN Group is a global online fashion retailer founded in China in 2008 and later developed into an international business with its parent company in Singapore. The company stands out for its on-demand model: new products are first launched in small batches of 100 to 200 units, after which demand is assessed in real time and popular items are quickly restocked, helping the company refresh its catalog faster and reduce excess inventory. Today, SHEIN officially operates in more than 150 countries, sells women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing, as well as home goods and beauty products, and also develops separate lines within its ecosystem, including the premium MOTF line. The combination of a global online format, very frequent assortment updates, and a technology-driven supply chain has become one of the brand’s defining features.
