The Banco do Brasil logo, for a Brazilian bank and financial institution, consists of a graphic BB symbol and the brand name. The symbol is designed as a blue geometric monogram mark: two letter B forms are joined and set diagonally, forming a dense diamond-shaped composition that resembles an angular knot made of ribbons. Sharp stepped negative spaces are visible inside the mark, and two separate slanted elements sit at the edges. The symbol can also be used on its own. In the horizontal version, it is placed to the left of the large blue Banco do Brasil wordmark, set in uppercase letters in a bold sans-serif typeface. In the vertical version, the symbol is placed above the bank’s name. Banco do Brasil’s main brand colors are blue and yellow.
