The BAWAG Group logo, used by the banking group, consists of a red geometric symbol and the brand name arranged to its right on two lines. The symbol is formed by two elongated vertical triangles of different sizes, positioned side by side and separated by a narrow gap. Together, they create a composition that visually resembles a flame. BAWAG appears beside the symbol in large uppercase letters, with the word Group placed below in a smaller typeface. On light backgrounds, the logo uses dark lettering with the red symbol, while a white version is used on dark backgrounds. The red geometric symbol was already part of the visual identity of BAWAG P.S.K. and remained in use after BAWAG Holding GmbH became BAWAG Group AG in 2017, now paired with the BAWAG Group name. In the current visual identity, the symbol is used both independently and together with the name. The name BAWAG derives from the historical name Bank für Arbeit und Wirtschaft, which the bank adopted in 1963.
