The BAWAG logo, representing a banking brand, consists of a red geometric symbol and the brand name positioned to its right. The symbol is formed by two elongated vertical triangles of different sizes, placed side by side and separated by a narrow gap. Together, they create a composition that visually resembles a flame. The BAWAG name is set in large uppercase sans-serif letters. On light backgrounds, the red symbol is paired with dark lettering, while an all-white version is used on dark backgrounds. The red geometric symbol was also used in the previous visual identity of BAWAG P.S.K. In July 2022, the consumer-facing brand name was shortened from BAWAG P.S.K. to BAWAG, its visual identity was refreshed, and the website moved to the bawag.at domain. The name BAWAG derives from Bank für Arbeit und Wirtschaft, the name adopted by the bank in 1963.
