The logo of the Unified Biometric System (EBS) is a modern graphic sign in the form of a hexagonal frame, visually echoing the Gosuslugi portal logo. Inside the hexagon is a stylized profile of a human head, framed with angular lines resembling camera focusing—this element symbolizes face recognition. The color palette uses a gradient from vivid magenta to blue, underlining the system’s digital orientation. The logo has been used unchanged since the system’s launch and appears across all official resources and documents.
The Unified Biometric System (EBS) is a government informational platform designed for remote identification of Russian citizens by face and voice. The project has been implemented since 2018 with the participation of the Ministry of Digital Development and the Bank of Russia, and is operated by JSC “Biometric Technologies Centre,” a subsidiary of PJSC Rostelecom. EBS provides legally valid identity verification for public and financial services without personal visits, through integration with ESIA. Today the system is used by banks, government agencies, and commercial services, providing users with fast and secure access to services using biometric data.
