The Jeep logo consists of the brand name written in uppercase letters in a clean, sans‑serif typeface. This version has been in use since the early 1990s and remains unchanged to this day. There is also an additional brand mark — a stylized grille with seven vertical slots and round elements resembling headlights. This motif is frequently used in marketing materials, though on vehicles the wordmark logo is more commonly displayed.
Jeep’s origins date back to the early 1940s when the Willys MB army vehicle was developed for U.S. military use during World War II. The Jeep brand was officially registered in 1950 by Willys‑Overland. In the following decades the company produced iconic models like the CJ, Cherokee, and Wrangler, helping to pioneer the SUV segment. Ownership changed hands through AMC and Chrysler, and since 2021 Jeep is part of Stellantis. Today the company builds SUVs and crossovers — including electric variants — maintaining its image of off-road capability, adventure, and freedom.
