Smart is a German automotive brand founded in 1994 as a joint venture between the Mercedes-Benz Group and Swatch. Initially, it produced compact city cars, including the Fortwo model. Since 2019, the brand has fully transitioned to electric vehicle production, and in 2023 it discontinued internal combustion models. In partnership with Chinese automaker Geely, Smart has developed new models: the Smart #1 and Smart #3 compact crossovers. The brand focuses on the sustainable mobility market and innovative solutions for urban environments.
