Where and how can I use it?

SVG format

It’s a lightweight vector format (in kilobytes) that’s ideal for use on websites, in mobile apps, and for print. Thanks to its scalability to any size without loss of quality, it can be scaled from the size of an icon to a banner on a building. The file is easily editable in popular graphics editors such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and others, and opens in Photoshop without any issues.

PNG format

It’s a raster format with support for transparent backgrounds, making it ideal for use on websites, web graphics, in presentations, documents, and social media. PNG preserves high image quality at its original size, but may lose sharpness and become blurred when enlarged. The file easily opens and is used in popular editors such as Photoshop, GIMP, Canva, Figma, and most standard image viewers.

Logo Java consists of a stylized image of a cup with a saucer and rising steam. The cup and saucer are made of curved lines in turquoise, while the steam above the cup is depicted as two dynamic orange lines. The word “Java” is placed next to the image, in turquoise, using a custom sans-serif font with emphasis on the capital letter “J”. This logo is used in its full-color version on official resources and remains current to this day. Its structure has remained largely unchanged since the late 1990s, despite minor tweaks in details.

Java is a high-level programming language developed by Sun Microsystems and introduced to the public in 1995. The creation of Java was led by James Gosling as part of the Green project. Initially, the language was called Oak, but it was later renamed Java, in reference to a type of coffee and the island of Java. The main feature of Java is its cross-platform nature: code written in Java can run on any system with the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) installed. After Sun Microsystems was acquired by Oracle in 2010, Java continued to evolve as an open technology (through the OpenJDK project) and gained widespread adoption, from mobile and web applications to banking systems, server solutions, and cloud infrastructure.
