The Match TV logo, used by the Russian sports television channel, features the brand name in large gold letters on a black background, with a separate light-colored exclamation mark. The letters are fused into a single shape, built from straight lines and sharp angles. A shortened version in the form of the “M!” symbol is also used separately. The brand name combines the word “match” with the channel’s TV format. The main logo appeared with the launch of the channel in 2015, and the branding and on-air design were created by SHANDESIGN.
Match TV began broadcasting on November 1, 2015, on the frequency previously used by the Rossiya 2 television channel. The channel broadcasts 24/7, is part of Russia’s first digital television multiplex, and is available nationwide as a free-to-air federal sports channel. The broadcaster is National Sports Television Channel LLC, which is part of Gazprom-Media Holding. The channel is dedicated to sports and healthy living. Its schedule includes live broadcasts of major Russian and international competitions, sports news, studio analysis programs, interviews, highlights shows, documentary films, and sports-related entertainment formats. Later, a lineup of thematic channels was also created around the main channel under the Match! brand.
