The MobilePay logo, used by the Danish mobile payment service, consists of a blue graphic mark and the written brand name. The mark shows the tilted outline of a smartphone, with two curved card shapes placed over it. The name MobilePay is set in a blue rounded bold sans-serif font, with the parts Mobile and Pay joined into one word. The MobilePay payment badge looks like a blue rectangular panel with strongly rounded corners: inside it, there may be a white graphic mark with a smartphone and two curved card shapes, or a combination of this mark with the word Pay.
MobilePay is a mobile payment service launched in Denmark in 2013. The brand is now operated by Vipps MobilePay AS and is used in Denmark and Finland as a separate consumer-facing brand within the shared Nordic payment platform. With MobilePay, users can send and receive money, pay for purchases in stores and online, pay companies, use QR codes, and make payments through the app. In Denmark, the service is used by millions of people, and MobilePay remains one of the country’s most recognizable payment apps.
