The Sferum logo, for the Russian educational communication service, consists of a graphic symbol and a wordmark. The graphic symbol resembles a three-dimensional open sphere or capsule made of two rounded parts with a blue-to-purple gradient. The rear part shows a turquoise inner cut, while the front part partially covers it at the lower right. Next to the symbol is the word “сферум”, set in lowercase sans-serif letters with large rounded forms. The main version uses a gradient symbol and dark lettering, and a one-color version is also used for high-contrast placement on different backgrounds.
Sferum is a free Russian service for educational communication, integrated into the MAX messenger. The project was launched in 2021 by Mail.ru Group and Rostelecom with support from Russia’s Ministry of Digital Development and Ministry of Education. The service brings together students, parents, teachers and staff of educational organizations in a safe digital space where users can maintain study chats, make individual and group calls, exchange files, follow school news and use tools for classes. Sferum is used in schools, vocational colleges and kindergartens across Russia, and the educational profile helps separate school-related communication from personal messaging.
