The Gamma logo, representing an AI platform for creating presentations and visual content, combines the brand name with a separate graphic symbol. The wordmark uses large, heavy uppercase sans-serif letters with thick strokes. Its distinguishing feature is the pronounced rounding at the tops and bottoms of the letters, most noticeable in the repeated smooth curves of the two M letters. The separate symbol is a tilted letter G with a horizontal oval beneath it that resembles a cast shadow. In the app icon, the light-colored G and dark blue oval appear on a square background with a gradient from dark blue at the top to light blue at the bottom. Single-color and two-color versions of the symbol are also used, while the wordmark appears in different colors. The visual identity was updated in April 2025 in collaboration with design studio Smith & Diction.
Gamma is an American AI platform developed by Gamma Tech, Inc., a company founded in San Francisco in 2020 by Grant Lee, James Fox and Jon Noronha. The service was launched in 2022 as an alternative to traditional PowerPoint presentations and later introduced generative AI tools. Gamma allows users to create presentations, documents, websites, infographics and social media content from text prompts or uploaded files. The platform automatically generates the structure and visual design of the materials and supports collaboration, publishing via a link and exporting to PDF and PowerPoint. In October 2026, Gamma 5 was released with a redesigned editor and an improved AI agent.
