The Leonardo.Ai logo, used by an AI platform for generating images and videos, consists of the brand name in large, bold uppercase sans-serif letters. The letters have broad geometric shapes combining straight and rounded elements, while their inner cutouts are circular, square or triangular. The dot before AI is square. The updated wordmark is used in purple, black and very light gray, almost white. A separate icon features a geometric portrait of Leonardo da Vinci with long hair, a mustache and a beard. The brand name also refers to the renowned Renaissance artist and inventor. In February 2026, Leonardo.Ai refreshed its visual identity in collaboration with design studio Koto, introducing the new Leo Renaisans typeface and the slogan “Yours to Create”.
Leonardo.Ai is an Australian generative AI platform created in Sydney in late 2022 by a team of developers led by JJ Fiasson. Initially designed to create graphics for video games, the service soon gained popularity among designers, artists, marketers and other professionals. The platform allows users to generate and edit images and videos, upscale images, control visual styles and train their own models. The company also develops generative models, including Phoenix, and offers an API for integrating its technology into other applications. In July 2024, Canva acquired Leonardo.Ai, which retained its standalone platform and continued developing its own tools.
