The Bancontact Pay logo, used by the Belgian app for mobile and online payments, consists of the Bancontact brand block and a highlighted Pay section. In the horizontal version, the logo is placed on a white rectangular panel with rounded corners: on the left is the Bancontact graphic mark, next to it is the name in a dark blue rounded bold sans-serif font, and on the right is a yellow-orange block with the word Pay. In the vertical version, the Bancontact mark and name are placed in the upper white section, while the word Pay appears below on a wide yellow-orange panel. The graphic mark consists of two wide color blocks: blue in the lower left part and yellow-orange in the upper right part. In the center, they form a smooth, symmetrical wave-like connection, making the mark look like a wide ribbon that visually flips in the central area. Bancontact Pay appeared in 2026 as the new name of the Payconiq by Bancontact app after the company simplified its brand architecture.
Bancontact Pay is the consumer app from Bancontact Company for payments in Belgium. It can be used to pay through the Bancontact Pay app or a banking app, scan QR codes, pay for purchases in stores and online, transfer money between people, and use features previously associated with Payconiq by Bancontact. Bancontact Company traces its history back to the Bancontact network launched in 1979, processes more than 2.5 billion transactions per year, and operates under the supervision of the National Bank of Belgium. In 2026, the company brought its products together under the single Bancontact name, with Bancontact Pay, Bancontact Card, Bancontact One Click, and Bancontact Pro as separate product lines.
