The CaixaBank logo of the Spanish banking group consists of a wordmark and a brand symbol on the left. The name CaixaBank is set in a dark gray, bold serif typeface. On the left is a symbol connected with the visual heritage of “la Caixa”: a blue starfish with irregular arms and two round dots in yellow and orange. The star was inspired by a work by artist Joan Miró and became the organization’s symbol in the early 1980s. The name CaixaBank combines the historical connection with “la Caixa” and its banking activity.
