The CTR logo, representing an automotive parts and components manufacturer, consists of the brand name rendered in three large red uppercase sans-serif letters. The entire wordmark is noticeably slanted to the right, and the letters have broad, heavy shapes. Narrow horizontal cutouts run through the C and the upper section of the R at the same height, creating a shared horizontal line within the mark. The central T has a wide upper section and a heavy slanted stem, while the R is constructed without a conventional vertical stem and ends in a broad diagonal leg. A white version of the logo is used on dark backgrounds. The slanted lines of the wordmark are set at an angle of 66.5°, which the company associates with the tilt of the Earth’s axis and the brand’s global development. The name CTR comes from Central and is associated with the concepts of “center” and “core”. The brand’s letters are also linked to the values of “challenge”, “trust”, “responsibility” and “respect”. The CTR brand for the auto parts market was introduced in 1994, and CTR later became the company’s corporate name.
