Where and how can I use it?

SVG format

It’s a lightweight vector format (in kilobytes) that’s ideal for use on websites, in mobile apps, and for print. Thanks to its scalability to any size without loss of quality, it can be scaled from the size of an icon to a banner on a building. The file is easily editable in popular graphics editors such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and others, and opens in Photoshop without any issues.

PNG format

It’s a raster format with support for transparent backgrounds, making it ideal for use on websites, web graphics, in presentations, documents, and social media. PNG preserves high image quality at its original size, but may lose sharpness and become blurred when enlarged. The file easily opens and is used in popular editors such as Photoshop, GIMP, Canva, Figma, and most standard image viewers.

The Delivery logo (food and goods delivery service) features a running ostrich in dark color with a zigzag yellow line on its body. Next to it is the brand name in a simple sans-serif font. The dynamic movement of the ostrich emphasizes the service’s focus on speed and efficiency.

The company LLC «Delivery Club» has been operating in the Russian market since 2009, specializing in the delivery of ready-made meals from restaurants and everyday goods such as groceries, household chemicals, pet products, and more. Until November 2023, the brand name was «Market Delivery», previously it was «Delivery Club». In August 2022, the service was acquired by Yandex, and in 2023 it underwent a rebranding connected with expanding the assortment and enhancing logistics capabilities. Today, Delivery provides express delivery in hundreds of cities across Russia and is part of the country’s large digital ecosystem.

When the perfect domain is taken, eBay is born

The company was originally called Echo Bay Technology Group — named after a picturesque bay near founder Pierre Omidyar’s home. But the domain echobay.com was already taken (by a gold mining company), so Omidyar simply shortened it to ebay.com. That’s how a name that would become a global brand was born — completely by chance, but forever part of e-commerce history.

FedEx in “Cast Away” — not a dime spent on advertising

FedEx became part of the storyline in the cult film “Cast Away” (2000) starring Tom Hanks, without spending a dollar on advertising. The company provided props, uniforms, and logistical expertise to create a realistic image of a delivery service. In return, it gained worldwide recognition — the FedEx logo became a symbol of reliability, and the brand is firmly associated with the story of survival and returning home.

The world’s first automatic electric kettle

Before 1955, you had to watch the boiling water yourself — look away for a second, and it would spill over. Russell Hobbs solved this problem by releasing the K1 — the world’s first electric kettle with automatic shut-off. The new product quickly conquered British kitchens and then the entire world. What seemed like a simple innovation became a true household revolution and marked the beginning of the smart appliance era no one had even dreamed of.

The Nike logo only cost $35

The Nike logo — the famous “Swoosh” — was designed in 1971 by design student Carolyn Davidson. She received only $35 for her work. Co-founder Phil Knight admitted that he didn’t particularly like the logo, but that he would “get used to it over time.” Later, when Nike became a successful brand, Carolyn received a gold ring with the logo and company shares in gratitude, which made her a millionaire.

A little secret of the Ford logo

The Ford logo, with its iconic blue oval and elegant script, was first used in 1907. Here’s a fun fact: the famous handwritten font associated with the brand wasn’t actually created by Henry Ford himself, but by a company designer who simply copied his autograph!
