The Evergreen logo, used by the Taiwanese container shipping carrier, in its main recognizable version consists of a large green EVERGREEN wordmark. The name is set in uppercase letters in a heavy geometric sans-serif typeface, with dense straight forms and uniform stroke thickness. This version is clearly visible on container ship hulls and containers, so it is most often perceived as the main visual mark of the brand in international sea freight. A full corporate version of Evergreen Marine Corp. is also used: on the left there is a round mark with a globe, meridian and parallel lines, a green star in the center, and the Evergreen inscription around the circle, while the green EVERGREEN MARINE CORP. wordmark is placed on the right. Evergreen is used as the permanent brand name of the shipping company.
Evergreen Marine Corporation is a Taiwanese shipping company founded in 1968 by Chang Yung-fa and operating in container shipping. The company is part of Evergreen Group and is known for international liner shipping under the Evergreen Line brand. Evergreen Marine carries container cargo on global routes, connecting ports in Asia, Europe, North and South America, Africa, the Middle East, and other regions. The brand became widely recognizable thanks to its green containers, the large EVERGREEN lettering on ships, and its role in global container logistics. One of the most famous vessels operated by the carrier was the container ship Ever Given, associated with the Suez Canal incident in 2021.
