Where and how can I use it?

SVG format

It’s a lightweight vector format (in kilobytes) that’s ideal for use on websites, in mobile apps, and for print. Thanks to its scalability to any size without loss of quality, it can be scaled from the size of an icon to a banner on a building. The file is easily editable in popular graphics editors such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and others, and opens in Photoshop without any issues.

PNG format

It’s a raster format with support for transparent backgrounds, making it ideal for use on websites, web graphics, in presentations, documents, and social media. PNG preserves high image quality at its original size, but may lose sharpness and become blurred when enlarged. The file easily opens and is used in popular editors such as Photoshop, GIMP, Canva, Figma, and most standard image viewers.

The Facebook logo is a lowercase white “f” on a blue background. This minimalist symbol has been in use since 2015 and has undergone only minor stylistic updates since then. In 2023, the signature blue shade was slightly adjusted to appear richer and more expressive. The goal of these changes is to maintain recognition and provide a clean, modern look on all screens and devices. The “f” has become more than a design element — it’s a global symbol of the social network.

Facebook was founded in 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg and his Harvard classmates. Originally intended for students, the platform quickly expanded beyond universities and became the world’s largest social network. In 2021, the company changed its name to Meta Platforms, Inc., signaling a strategic shift toward building the metaverse. The group also includes major services like Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger. The company earns most of its revenue from advertising, with billions of users using its platforms daily.
