SVG format

It’s a lightweight vector format (in kilobytes) that’s ideal for use on websites, in mobile apps, and for print. Thanks to its scalability to any size without loss of quality, it can be scaled from the size of an icon to a banner on a building. The file is easily editable in popular graphics editors such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and others, and opens in Photoshop without any issues.

PNG format

It’s a raster format with support for transparent backgrounds, making it ideal for use on websites, web graphics, in presentations, documents, and social media. PNG preserves high image quality at its original size, but may lose sharpness and become blurred when enlarged. The file easily opens and is used in popular editors such as Photoshop, GIMP, Canva, Figma, and most standard image viewers.

The logo of the international reference and media project Guinness World Records is designed as a circular emblem with the brand name placed along the outer ring and a central graphic symbol. In the current version of the logo, the inscription “Guinness World Records” is set in uppercase sans-serif letters and arranged around the circumference. At the center of the composition is a stylized column topped with a five-pointed star, rendered in a golden color. The color scheme of the logo is based on a combination of dark blue, light blue, white, and yellow tones. This structure is used in printed publications, television projects, and digital formats, while the overall composition and key elements of the logo have been preserved for many years, undergoing only minor visual refinements.

Guinness World Records was founded in 1955 and was initially published with the support of the Guinness brewing company as a reference work systematizing unique and verifiable achievements. Guinness World Records has developed its own procedures for verifying and confirming achievements, which are applied worldwide. The Nike logo only cost $35

The Nike logo — the famous “Swoosh” — was designed in 1971 by design student Carolyn Davidson. She received only $35 for her work. Co-founder Phil Knight admitted that he didn’t particularly like the logo, but that he would “get used to it over time.” Later, when Nike became a successful brand, Carolyn received a gold ring with the logo and company shares in gratitude, which made her a millionaire.

How the Guinness beer brand is connected to the Book of Records

The connection between the Guinness beer brand and the Book of Records dates back to the early 1950s. Brewery manager Sir Hugh Beaver proposed creating a reference guide to settle record-related disputes that often arose in pubs. In 1955, the first edition of Guinness World Records was published, originally conceived as a promotional project. Over time, the book of records became an independent international brand, no longer legally connected to Guinness beer.

When the perfect domain is taken, eBay is born
