Where and how can I use it?

SVG format

It’s a lightweight vector format (in kilobytes) that’s ideal for use on websites, in mobile apps, and for print. Thanks to its scalability to any size without loss of quality, it can be scaled from the size of an icon to a banner on a building. The file is easily editable in popular graphics editors such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and others, and opens in Photoshop without any issues.

PNG format

It’s a raster format with support for transparent backgrounds, making it ideal for use on websites, web graphics, in presentations, documents, and social media. PNG preserves high image quality at its original size, but may lose sharpness and become blurred when enlarged. The file easily opens and is used in popular editors such as Photoshop, GIMP, Canva, Figma, and most standard image viewers.

The Habr logo, for the Russian IT platform and community of IT specialists, is used as a wordmark and as a separate graphic element. The text version can feature the name “Хабр” in Russian or Habr in English. The lettering is set in large sans-serif letters: in a dark color for a light background or in white for a dark background. The brand graphic element is called “Хабракатышек” and looks like a rounded blue-gray tangle made of many intersecting curved lines, similar to fine tangled strands. Habr logos are used in Russian and English versions, as well as in variants for light and dark themes.

Habr is a Russian IT platform and a family of products for developers, engineers, designers, managers and other specialists who create IT products. The project’s history began in 2006, and Habr itself grew from a community and collective knowledge base where users publish articles, news, reviews, experience-based posts and discussions about technology, software development and the digital industry. Today, the ecosystem includes Habr as a media platform and knowledge base, Habr Career, Habr Q&A and educational projects, while Habr products are used by more than 12 million specialists.
