The Indesit logo features the brand name in uppercase letters using a simple geometric sans‑serif font. Next to or to the left of it is the recognisable emblem—a broken ring with a small lowercase “i” inside, resembling a power button. This element emphasises the brand’s technical focus and connection to household appliances. The current logo appears in the signature blue‑cyan colour and has been in use since the late 1990s.
Indesit was founded in 1975 in Italy by Vittorio Merloni under the name Merloni Elettrodomestici. In 2005, the company officially adopted the name Indesit Company. The brand quickly became one of Europe’s leading home appliance manufacturers. In 2014, Indesit joined the American group Whirlpool Corporation and in 2022 became part of the Turkish Arçelik holding. Today, Indesit products are available in dozens of countries, including washing machines, refrigerators, cookers, ovens, dishwashers and other everyday appliances.
