Where and how can I use it?

SVG format

It’s a lightweight vector format (in kilobytes) that’s ideal for use on websites, in mobile apps, and for print. Thanks to its scalability to any size without loss of quality, it can be scaled from the size of an icon to a banner on a building. The file is easily editable in popular graphics editors such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and others, and opens in Photoshop without any issues.

PNG format

It’s a raster format with support for transparent backgrounds, making it ideal for use on websites, web graphics, in presentations, documents, and social media. PNG preserves high image quality at its original size, but may lose sharpness and become blurred when enlarged. The file easily opens and is used in popular editors such as Photoshop, GIMP, Canva, Figma, and most standard image viewers.

ING (Internationale Nederlanden Groep) - PNG logo with transparent background

The ING logo, representing an international banking group, consists of dark blue uppercase serif letters and an orange figure of a reclining lion positioned to the right. The lion is shown in profile with its head turned toward the viewer, while details of the mane, paws and body are formed by white negative spaces within the orange figure. The visual identity also includes monochrome versions, including an all-white logo on an orange background, while the separate lion symbol can be used without the lettering, for example in compact digital formats. The abbreviation ING comes from the name Internationale Nederlanden Groep, which was introduced in 1991 following the merger of Nationale-Nederlanden and NMB Postbank Groep. The orange lion reflects the group’s Dutch roots: orange is the national color of the Netherlands, while the lion is one of the country’s national symbols. Lions also appeared in the emblems of several ING predecessor companies, so the image was retained in the identity of the combined group and remains its main symbol.

ING Groep N.V. is a Dutch banking group headquartered in Amsterdam. It was formed in 1991 through the merger of insurance company Nationale-Nederlanden and banking group NMB Postbank Groep. ING later expanded through international acquisitions and the growth of its banking operations, and after separating its banking and insurance businesses, it focused primarily on banking services. Today, the group serves private customers, companies and financial institutions, offering current accounts, savings products, loans, mortgages, investment solutions, payments, corporate finance, cash management and other services. Its core banking business is conducted through ING Bank N.V., which is wholly owned by ING Groep N.V., while the group operates in retail and corporate banking across international markets.
