The JennAir premium kitchen appliance manufacturer logo consists of a proprietary graphic mark and a typographic wordmark. The graphic mark is a geometric monogram made of two wide vertical shapes cut diagonally at different heights, with a smooth inner cutout that creates a recognizable “J” silhouette. The wordmark is “JENNAIR” in uppercase letters with increased spacing: the letters are built on crisp lines and angled cuts, the “A” is rendered as a triangular form without a crossbar, and the “R” is designed in a distinctive way without a left vertical stem. In 2018, the brand refreshed its identity, established the JennAir spelling without a hyphen, and introduced the tagline “BOUND BY NOTHING”. Official applications include horizontal and vertical layouts with the mark and wordmark, wordmark-only versions, tagline combinations, and a standalone icon; one-color versions are used for different media, including black, white, gray, and a brass tone (a warm golden-bronze).
JennAir is an American kitchen appliance brand in the Whirlpool Corporation portfolio. The brand’s history begins in 1947, when Louis J. Jenn founded Jenn-Air Products Company in Indianapolis; one of the key directions became downdraft ventilation solutions, and in 1961 the company introduced the first self-ventilated range of this type. In 1982, the brand was acquired by Maytag, and in 2006 it moved to Whirlpool along with other Maytag brands. Under JennAir, the company produces built-in and major kitchen appliances: cooktops and ranges (including models with downdraft ventilation), ovens, ventilation systems, refrigeration products, and dishwashers.
