Where and how can I use it?

SVG format

It’s a lightweight vector format (in kilobytes) that’s ideal for use on websites, in mobile apps, and for print. Thanks to its scalability to any size without loss of quality, it can be scaled from the size of an icon to a banner on a building. The file is easily editable in popular graphics editors such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and others, and opens in Photoshop without any issues.

PNG format

It’s a raster format with support for transparent backgrounds, making it ideal for use on websites, web graphics, in presentations, documents, and social media. PNG preserves high image quality at its original size, but may lose sharpness and become blurred when enlarged. The file easily opens and is used in popular editors such as Photoshop, GIMP, Canva, Figma, and most standard image viewers.

The Julius Baer logo, representing a Swiss private wealth management group, is based on the Julius Bär wordmark, set in a large dark-blue serif typeface. The letters feature a noticeable contrast between thin and thick strokes, while the surname appears in the logo in its German form, Bär, with an umlaut, although the spelling Julius Baer is widely used in the company’s international materials. An all-white version is available for dark backgrounds. A separate circular icon with the white initials JB on a dark-blue background is used for compact digital formats. Julius Baer’s visual identity was substantially refreshed in 2013–2014 and subsequently rolled out across the group’s international network. The bank’s name and signature blue remained at the core of the identity. The visual system continued to evolve, and in 2019 a separate historical circular emblem featuring the building at Bahnhofstrasse 36 was introduced, although it did not replace the main wordmark. The name Julius Baer comes from the founder Julius Bär, who gave his name to the banking business in the early 20th century.

Julius Baer Group Ltd. is a Swiss banking group headquartered in Zurich, specializing in private wealth management and services for high-net-worth clients. The business traces its history back to 1890, when Julius Bär began working in foreign exchange in Zurich. In 1901, he acquired the company and renamed it Julius Baer. The family-owned bank later expanded into wealth management, securities trading and foreign exchange, and began its international expansion in 1940. In 1980, Julius Baer became the first Swiss private bank to go public. Following the separation of the business in 2009, the private banking activities continued under the independent Julius Baer Group, focused on wealth management. The group’s main operating company is Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd., and today the group operates in dozens of financial centers around the world.
