The wordmark is placed on a green curved leaf-shaped background used in the current visual identity after the 2019 redesign. Knorr was founded in 1838 in Heilbronn, Germany, by entrepreneur Carl Heinrich Theodor Knorr, who began with producing dried vegetables and flavor-enhancing blends. Today the brand is owned by Unilever and is present in more than 90 countries, offering a wide range of soups, broths, seasonings, sauces, and other culinary products. Knorr develops food preparation and preservation technologies and remains one of the world’s largest brands in convenient cooking solutions.
