The Lay’s logo, the potato chips manufacturer, in the updated version since October 2025 consists of the brand name placed on a red ribbon with white letters, running across the center of a yellow circle with a red border. Inside the circle, thin white rays spread from the center to the edges. The font, which was previously tilted to the right, is now more vertical, but the entire composition with the ribbon still has a diagonal upward tilt. The lower part of the letter “y” has changed — it now has a break at the end. Gradients have been removed from the logo, making it simpler and cleaner, while preserving the brand colors and the recognizable image associated with the sun and potatoes.
Lay’s is one of the key brands of PepsiCo and one of the most popular potato chip producers in the world. Founded almost a century ago, the brand has become a global symbol of snack culture and is present in over a hundred countries. In October 2025, Lay’s updated not only its visual identity but also its philosophy, now emphasizing natural ingredients and sustainable production. The company is gradually eliminating artificial flavors and colors, updating the “Baked” and “Kettle Cooked” lines using olive and avocado oils, and strengthening cooperation with farming households. The new brand image reflects the concept “from potato to chip,” highlighting transparency and the authenticity of ingredient origins.
