In 2026, a Russian-language version of the logo appeared with the «макс» wordmark, where the text element is placed next to the mark in lowercase letters. For English-language use, the spelling «max» is used. Thanks to this set of versions, the logo can be used as a standalone app icon, an independent graphic mark, or a full version with text.
Max is a messenger by VK, officially introduced in 2025 as a replacement for VK Messenger. The name was chosen as universal and easy to remember, with an association with maximum capabilities. Development is being carried out as part of the creation of a Russian digital super app: Max is integrated with VK ID, payment services, mini apps, and the VK ecosystem. The app supports chats, calls, video calls, documents, and multimedia, including secure data transfer. The project is being implemented with the participation of Russian companies and is focused on the development of digital sovereignty.
