The logo of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the federal executive body of the Russian Federation responsible for industry and trade, is made in dark blue and consists of a graphic mark and a text block. The graphic mark has the form of a triangular emblem with cut-off outer corners. It is built from three identical wide elements arranged around the center, while the empty space inside forms a three-rayed cutout with smoothly curved rays extending toward the sides of the mark. In the Russian version, the inscription “Минпромторг России” is placed on the right in two lines, set in a large bold sans-serif typeface. An English version with the text “MINISTRY OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE OF RUSSIA” is also used. The name Минпромторг is an abbreviation of the full name “Министерство промышленности и торговли”.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation is responsible for state policy and legal regulation in the fields of industry, trade, the defense-industrial complex, aviation technology, technical regulation, ensuring the uniformity of measurements, and foreign trade activity.
