The logo of MIR Radio, which is part of the Interstate Television and Radio Company “Mir”, is presented as a circular emblem with a wide outer ring divided into colored segments in a blue-green palette. At the center is a white circle with the blue word “radio” above the black word “MIR”, set in a bold sans-serif typeface. There is also a simplified one-color version in which all segments of the outer ring are rendered in a single color and separated from one another. This construction visually links the station to the television channels and other media projects of the Mir brand, while the name itself directly points to its place within a shared interstate media system.
MIR Radio began broadcasting on September 1, 1993, and later grew into an independent radio network that the company itself describes as the first and only radio station creating a shared music and information space across the Commonwealth countries. Today, the station combines music, news, entertainment, and educational programming, operates in several countries, and, according to the company, reaches around 48 million listeners. Thanks to that reach and its focus on the post-Soviet space, MIR Radio holds a prominent place in the wider CIS media landscape.
