The Novatek logo is an abstract graphic symbol resembling evaporating natural gas molecules, symbolizing both liquid and gaseous fuel states. The smoothly connected elements evoke motion, energy, and technological sophistication. The primary colors—light blue, dark blue, and red—highlight the company’s eco focus, Arctic operations, and energy-oriented business. The “NOVATEK” wordmark is set in a bold, sans-serif font expressing stability, confidence, and international scope. Since its introduction, the logo has undergone only minor stylistic refinements, preserving its core concept and recognizability.
Novatek is one of Russia’s largest private gas companies, founded in 1994. It specializes in exploration, production, processing, and export of natural gas and condensate. Its main operations are based in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, with major LNG projects like “Yamal LNG” and “Arctic LNG 2.” The company actively applies innovative technologies, including its own Arctic icebreaking LNG carriers, enabling efficient operation under harsh climatic conditions and solid positioning in the global energy market.
