The logo of the oil and gas company PetroChina features a graphic symbol in the shape of a circle with a wavy edge, formed by ten radial segments with smooth rounded corners. At the center of the figure is a white semicircle, from which rays extend upward and outward, creating the visual impression of a rising sun. The upper inner part of the logo is filled with a gradient — from bright yellow in the center to deep orange towards the edges. The bottom part of the composition is red and resembles a solid horizontal shape, similar to a mountain ridge or a base. The black company name appears either below the graphic element or to its right, depending on the layout, in bold italic sans-serif type. The logo has been in use since 2004 and remains current to this day.
