Where and how can I use it?

SVG format

It’s a lightweight vector format (in kilobytes) that’s ideal for use on websites, in mobile apps, and for print. Thanks to its scalability to any size without loss of quality, it can be scaled from the size of an icon to a banner on a building. The file is easily editable in popular graphics editors such as Figma, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and others, and opens in Photoshop without any issues.

PNG format

It’s a raster format with support for transparent backgrounds, making it ideal for use on websites, web graphics, in presentations, documents, and social media. PNG preserves high image quality at its original size, but may lose sharpness and become blurred when enlarged. The file easily opens and is used in popular editors such as Photoshop, GIMP, Canva, Figma, and most standard image viewers.

The POLITICO logo, for the American political media outlet, consists of a wordmark and a square icon with the letter P. The wordmark is set in red uppercase sans-serif letters. The letters have wide geometric forms, and in the current wordmark the C visually wraps around the final O. The icon is a red square with a large white letter P in the center. POLITICO’s updated identity uses a single red color and an updated brand wordmark. In English, the word politico means a politician or a person involved in politics.

POLITICO is an American digital media outlet covering politics, power and public policy, founded in 2007 by Robert Allbritton, Jim VandeHei and John Harris. The publication covers U.S. politics, Congress, the White House, elections, regulation, international politics and the agenda of government institutions. In addition to its main website, POLITICO develops its European division, professional subscription products, newsletters, analysis and events for audiences connected with politics, business, public administration and public communications. Since 2021, POLITICO has been part of Axel Springer.
